各位「千個聖誕老人夜跑」支持者：
鑑於新型冠狀病毒的疫情影響持續，同時限聚令亦未解除，主辦機構寰宇希望為保障參賽者及其家人﹑表演者﹑義工﹑與及支援隊伍的健康及安全，我們考慮各種方案及審慎討論後，決定將今年的「千個聖誕老人夜跑」實體賽事取消。對於帶來的不便，敬請原諒。
我們將與合作夥伴Sportsoho作出以下安排，參賽者可選擇：
1. 退回報名費 或
2. 保留名額至新明年活動或
3. 參加本年度聖誕老人虛擬跑，及將參加費用之餘額(港幣$150)捐贈予寰宇希望，以資助「兒童希望部落」項目，幫助有特殊教育需要(SEN)的小朋友。寰宇希望會發出收據作扣稅之用。
Sportsoho將依據 閣下意願作相關安排。如選擇退款，請於2020年11月30日或之前填妥表格（退款將於收到確認後45天內處理）。

Dear racers and supporters of Great Santa Run 2019,
In view of the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, and as health and safety of participants and their families, performers, volunteers, and support teams remain our top priorities, we regret to announce the cancellation of the physical HOPE worldwide Great Santa Run. This decision was made after the consideration of various options and careful discussions. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
We are making the following arrangements with Sportsoho, our event partner, All participants can either apply for:
1. refund of the enrollment fee or
2. reservation for next year’s event or
3. Participate the virtual Great Santa Run, and donate the remaining enrollment fee (HK$150) to HOPE worldwide’s “A Village Makes SENse’ programme which helps underprivileged children who also have special educational needs (SEN). We will issue a receipt for your tax deduction purposes.
Sportsoho will make the necessary arrangements according to your choice. If you lease complete the form on the event website on or before 30 November, 2020 for your refund. (The amount will be returned within 45 days after confirmation)

不同的賽事組別和距離讓全家老少都可以參加。完成賽事後，一起享受大會為大家準備的聖誕嘉年華。你的參與和籌得的善款將支持寰宇希望提供服務給有特殊教育需要的小朋友。 #以跑行善
The Great Santa Run is a worldwide event taking place in the US, Japan, France, Greece...All the events raise money to help the needy in their communities. The HOPE worldwide Great Santa Night Run is part of this worldwide movement! We invite you to join us and thousands of Santa Clauses, young and old, to run, do good, and spread the cheer!
There are different race categories and distances for everyone. We are also preparing a fun Christmas carnival at the venue for the whole family to enjoy. Your participation and funds raised support services for needy children with special educational needs (SEN). #YourRunTheirGift

寰宇希望作為一間國際性基督教慈善機構﹐匯聚各方面資源﹐為貧困及有需要人士提供持續及高效率的教育和醫療服務。目前，我們主要為香港的弱勢長者、兒童及青少年提供服務，並幫助中國山區貧困學童及城市裡的農民工子弟接受教育。
HOPE worldwide is an international Christian charity that brings people and communities together to deliver sustainable and high-impact education and health services to the poor and needy. Currently, our programmes serve vulnerable elderly, underprivileged children and youth in Hong Kong, and also poor children in rural communities and urban areas in China.

贊助注意事項 Sponsorship Important Notes
所有贊助表格及支票須由參加者1/隊長收集，每張贊助表格須附有一張劃線支票，並於2019年12月9日或之前寄回香港九龍新蒲崗雙喜街2-4號同德工業大廈9樓A室收，信封面請註明「寰宇希望千個聖誕老人齊跑。齊玩。齊開心！」。
Participant1/Leader will collect the sponsorship forms and cheques from members of your team. Please send them by post to Flat A, 9/F., Tontex Industrial Building, 2-4 Sheung Hei Street, San Po Kong, Kowloon and specify ‘HOPE worldwide Great Santa Night Run 2019’ on the envelop on or before 9 December 2019. Each sponsorship form should be attached with one crossed cheque.
- 捐款港幣$100或以上可獲寰宇希望發出捐款收據，供申請扣除香港稅項之用。所有正式收據將於活動後三個月內發出。團體/企業組別的捐款收據名稱會根據表格所填的「團體/企業名稱」發出，請填上有效的團體/機構名稱。個人/親子組的捐款收據名稱會以參加者1的名稱發出 (如收據需以其他名義發出，請下載並填妥「贊助表格」，以郵寄方式將贊助表格及支票/存款收條寄回活動統籌地址)。
Donations of HK$100 or more are tax-deductible. Official donation receipts will be issued within 3 months after the event. For Corporation/Organization, donation receipts will be issued according to Name of Corporation/Organization. Please submit the valid name of the Corporation/Organization. For Family/individual category, donation receipts will be issued according to Name of Participant 1 (Please download and send the completed Sponsorship Form with a crossed cheque/bank-in slip by post to event management office for issuing receipt for other sponsors). - 如表格不敷應用，請自行覆印或下載。

注意事項 Important note
- 若申請者提供錯誤資料、不能繳交報名表及費用或不依從正確報名程序報名，主辦單位保留拒絕接受有關申請之權利。報名一經接納報名費或捐款恕不發還。已寄出的報名或重覆報名，均不設退款、退件、轉名安排及取消服務。
All enrolment fees and other donations are not refundable. If the participants provide incorrect information, fail to pay for enrolment fee or follow correct enrolment procedure, the Organizer reserves the right to reject their enrolment. - 不接受現場及逾期報名。
Late or on site enrolment will not be accepted. - 主辦單位保留限制及拒絕接受報名的權利。
The Organizer reserves the right to limit and refuses any enrolment. - 主辦單位保留聯絡申請者之權利，以便查詢有關其報名資料之事宜。
The Organizer reserves the right to contact participants for information regarding their enrolment - 任何懷孕或患有慢性疾病如心臟病及高血壓的人士，皆不應參加是次活動。主辦單位在得悉或懷疑的情況下，保留取消任何不適宜參加是次活動之參加者資格的權利。被取消資格人士的報名費及其他費用, 將不會獲得退還。
Any person who is pregnant or suffering from chronic diseases such as heart disease or high blood pressure should not join the event. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant known or suspected to be unfit to participate in the event. All entry fees and donations of the disqualified person will not be refunded. - 號碼布連計時晶片及將會在比賽前兩星期通知參加者領取，參加者攜同電郵列印本或用電子產品展示電郵方式領取。
Race Pack Pick-up Notice will be sent to participants 2 weeks before the event day. Participants should bring the email print out to pick up the race pack with bib number, timing chip. - 參加者個人意外保險需自行負責。
Participants are advised to arrange their own insurance cover. - 大會保留是次活動之最終決定權，任何有關活動的臨時改動或消息，將以大會網站公佈為準。如參加者引起公眾不安，或作出其他大會認為不當的行為，大會有權取消參加者比賽資格。
The Organizer reserves the right of final decision of the event. Any changes or contingent measures for the event announced by the Organizer and posted on the Organizer's webpage shall prevail. - 參加者必須確保體格適宜參加比賽。參加者必須同意遵守及接受參加者須知及其細則。
Participants must ensure that they are physically fit to join the event. They must comply with, observe and accept the requirements and related terms for participants. - 大會設有行李寄存及水站。
Baggage storage service and water stations will be provided.
惡劣天氣 Severe weather
- 如於比賽當天中午十二時或之後懸掛八號或以上颱風訊號，賽事將會取消。
If Typhoon Signal No.8 or above is hoisted at any time from 12:00 noon on the race day, the race will be cancelled. - 如於比賽當日中午十二時前懸掛黑色暴雨，賽事將會取消。
If the Black Rainstorm Signal is hoisted at any time from 12:00 noon on the race day, the race will be cancelled. - 如比賽進行中天氣惡劣或懸掛上述任何警告，賽事總監有權將比賽賽程改變或取消正在進行中的比賽。報名費將不獲退還。
Should the above Inclement Weather/Condition Warnings be raised after the commencement of race, the Race Director has the right to change the course distance or arrangement or to stop the race. If the race is being stopped, the race will be cancelled. Entry fee will not be refunded - 如是次比賽因天氣惡劣或懸掛上述任何警告而取消，並不設補賽。
No rescheduled race due to inclement weather or other reasons. - 請在比賽早上致電香港天文台查詢有關天氣情況。(電話: 1878200)
