3rd Shatin Mixed Terrain (Cross-country ＆Road) Race
Organizer : Established in 1999. Initiated and formed by a group of marathon elites and lovers to promote and encourage Marathon sport.
Race Aims : To promote a new racing experience on mixed terrain.
Race Feature : Mountain trail running and road running combined experience.
Race Date：26th April, 2009 (Sunday)
Starting Time：8:30 am
Registration Time：7:30am
Meeting Point：Siu Lek Yuen Village Car Park (Near Ngau Pei Sha Street &
Kwong Sin St. which oppose to the Heng Shen School of Commerce)
Distance：Around 9 km
Entry Deadline：6th April, 2009 (Monday)
Race Route：Start from Hang Shin Link to Fa Sam Hang & Nui Po Au,
run along Mui Tsz Lam Road to A Kung Kok, Shek Mun,
and back to Siu Lek Yuen Village.
Time Limit : 1h 30min
Souvenir：A vest will be given to each participant who finishes the race.
Race Characteristics：Single lap .Mountain trails and steps followed by a flat and fast return route (bicycle track).
Individual Category: Group A (16-28 Age) Group B (29 - 38 Age) Group C (39 - 49 Age) Group D (Men 50 - 59 Age / Women 50+ Age) Group E (Men 60+ Age)
Participants will be grouped according to their year of birth
Team Category : Teams of three (Men & Women). The Third runner’s time will be counted when two teams finish with an identical time. The first three teams in each group will be
awarded Chung Hing Sports Coupons. The results of each team member are also counted as individual group result.
The application form should be sent by each team. Changing of team members or additional information will require a further payment of HK$100 on each occasion (changes can only be accepted before the deadline)
